Families tell of blast terror
Tuesday 5th January 2010, 2:30PM GMT.

Scott Godbold, Sarah Pearse and Sam Devine-Turner were injured in the blast
The families of two of the victims of the massive blast which destroyed a Shrewsbury town centre building today spoke of the horror of the explosion.
Angharad Howard-Davies – known as Annie Davies – fell from the building, which then collapsed on top of her.
Her mother today said it was a miracle the 19-year-old, who is in a stable condition after being airlifted to Birmingham’s Selly Oak Hospital, had survived.
Miss Davies’ friends Sam Devine-Turner and Sarah Pearse, both 19, are also in a stable condition at Selly Oak, as is Miss Pearse’s boyfriend Scott Godbold, 23.
Kiley McDonnell, who was starring in the Peter Pan pantomime at Theatre Severn as the character Jovial Jake, was also injured and was today in a serious but stable condition at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with spinal injuries.
