'The Avenue, West Felton' as seen in a postcard franked on November 18, 1904.
In the depths of winter, let’s cheer ourselves up with a view of a leafy Shropshire lane on a summer’s day. This is “The Avenue, West Felton” and if you look carefully you can see a young lad about half way down on the right.
It is a postcard which was franked on November 18, 1904, although the view itself obviously must have been earlier than that. It was loaned to us by Mrs Diana Humphreys of Maesbrook.
