Probe into house fire

An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire at a house in Shrewsbury.
A man, believed to be an 18-year-old Shrewsbury College student, was given oxygen at the scene after reports of the fire at the property in Sundorne Road at about 12.30pm yesterday.
The fire is understood to have broken out in the bathroom on the second floor of the semi-detached house.
The man was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital after suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
