“His back-seat passenger, a man, had chest pain and was taken to the same hospital by a Welsh Ambulance Service crew.

“A woman front-seat passenger had a bump to her head and was taken to the RSH by a passing Patient Transport Services ambulance.

“The driver of the lorry had a bump to his head and had developed back pain.

“He was taken to the same hospital.”

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said the crash had happened between the Edgebold and Woodcote Islands. He said the road had been closed by police because of a large diesel spillage but the people involved were believed to have suffered only minor injuries.
