Manager Paul Simpson hopes his squad’s Boxing Day performance against Macclesfield will be something to build on when the team plays Bradford City later today.
Simpson said the Boxing Day match saw a “horrible, scrappy performance” from Town, but he was also disappointed with the reaction from some of the fans.
Saturday’s match saw three goals in the dying minutes of the first half, with Shrewsbury equalising in the 90th minute of the match.
