Boss ready to shuffle Town pack

Shrewsbury Town’s entire squad have been placed on red alert for part two of the gruelling Christmas programme at Bradford on Monday.
Town make the trip to Valley Parade just 48 hours after this today’s clash with Macclesfield at the Prostar Stadium.
And with the two games following in such quick succession, manager Paul Simpson is aware injuries or fatigue could force him into changes for the trip to Yorkshire.
“For the games on Boxing Day and the 28th, everyone is going to have to be ready to go,” said the Town boss.
“We will get today’s game out of the way and see what situation we are in before Monday.”
Much to his relief, Simpson has seen many of the injury problems ease to leave him with plenty of options ahead of the double-header.
Mike Jackson and Glynn Garner remain long-term absentees while Jake Simpson is also sidelined for up to three months.
Goalkeeper Chris Neal has returned to full training but – with last week’s scheduled behind-closed-doors friendly at Burton falling to the cold snap – has yet to make a return from his broken finger.
The only other player unavailable for Bradford is Andre Gray who remains on loan at AFC Telford.
Meanwhile, Simpson has urged his players to continue to remain professional throughout the festive period.
“I don’t want to be a Scrooge and I want the players to enjoy the Christmas period with their families,” he added.
“But they are professional footballers and looking after themselves at this time of year is a very small sacrifice to make for the career they have got.”
