Teen stole from uncle

Thursday 24th December 2009, 8:48AM GMT.

A Shropshire teenager who burgled his uncle’s home will be sentenced in the new year.

James Baguley, 18, of Powell Place, Newport, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday after he admitted burglary at a home in Chetwynd Grove, Newport, on October 22.

The court heard Baguley had gone to ask his family if he could borrow some money to pay off a debt but when he found they were not in he stole a Playstation, games, a watch and money.

The case was adjourned for reports until January 15. Baguley was released on conditional bail.
