Conference and event organisers from all over the world will be among the first to see a model of the new convention quarter which aims to create a thriving night-time economy bringing thousands of jobs.
Business Tourism Manager Sarah Bird said: “We’ve already announced our plans for the multi-million pound development to our Telford and Shropshire audience, but now it’s time to reveal the news on a national and international stage.
“International Confex is the UK’s biggest show of its kind, and it’s an excellent platform on which to launch our news to the industry.”
Telford and Shropshire Conferences is working with private investors and public sector organisations to en- sure a partnership approach to the development that will take the area into the premier league of conference locations in the UK.
Ms Bird said: “Telford and Shropshire is already a great destination, but we are constantly improving, and it really is a never-ending story when it comes to investments and developments.”
