Strictly star’s Shropshire links

The Shropshire-based father of Strictly Come Dancing competitor, Ricky Whittle, today urged county fans to back his son through to the final.
Speaking to the Shropshire Star this morning from his home in Harmer Hill, Harry Whittle said the public should vote for the best dancer on the night – and if that was his son then he would urge them to pick up the phone.
The 51-year-old is a civilian aircrew instructor at the Central Helicopter Flying School at RAF Shawbury.
