With the talent show now down to the final three, who do you think will go all the way? Fill out the comment form below.

How do you think this year’s contestants have compared to those of previous years?

Schoolteacher Danyl Johnson was voted off the ITV show on Sunday night, missing out on a place in the show’s final.

Olly Murs, 25, Joe McElderry, 18, and 20-year-old mother Stacey Solomon are the finalists.

Johnson’s mentor Simon Cowell said: “There was nothing more he could have done. He’s gone out on a high. He’s a gracious loser.”

As a music mogul myself, albeit in a different incarnation, I have the following observations:

Although Stacey is a reasonable singer, she does not have the X Factor. Indeed, it amazes me that she can sing so well, considering that she cannot talk. Back to the chip shop, love. Or Asda.

As for Olly: cocky and a born performer but very little vocal talent. I cannot see him as a recording artist.

I believe that Joe ticks all the boxes and will win this year’s event. And good luck to him.

I am so excited to see who wins! I know i’m voting for joe! I just saw this article online, http://www.childrenfirst.nhs.uk/teens/life/features/celebrity_health/joe.html , about his struggle with his weight – really shows a different aspect on his life. So interesting.

If people like H. St. John Peasbody could put their discriminatory comments and bias aside for one second they would see that Stacey is unique , exceptional world class singer and personality , full of fun and wit with emotional excitement. That is why Stacey should win – give her you vote.

I think Joe is streets ahead of the other finalists, the next best singer was Danyl but problem for Danyl, Stacey and Olly is all of them go off key or at best, flat on the low notes. Joe can sing high and low, has a great range and depth and sensitivity to his voice and his personality doesnt distract from his voice, in fact it allows you to listen only to his singing. No gimmicks, only pure concentration on getting the message of the song across and hitting the notes perfectly – its all done with a strong work ethic and drive to sing any song as best as possible. Joe to win, he has shown a great variety and clean pair of heels to all the other contestants. Cant wait to buy a CD where we can listen to numerous songs one after another. Also I think he will go down big in the US – handsome, cleancut, great voice, nice image, singing Journey songs !!!!!!!

#5 Blake – Stacey full of wit! You must be joking. My dictionary describes wit as “practical intelligence” not “feeble or foolish”. Hold on – that’s “wet”. That’s what you meant to say wasn’t it?

Oh no!!! I’m starting to sound like I care about it again…must stop now.

Joe. I say this because if he made a cd its the only one i’m likely to buy, I certainly pay to listen to the others. Joe has longevity in pop or stage.

I expect whoever wins to do a Brookstein / Jackson and disappear into obscurity.

Dan was, by a country mile, the most talented singer in the competition.

And as a musician, I know a great singer when I hear one.

I don’t care who wins now that those awful twins have been voted out. They couldn’t sing for a toffee!
I would like to see Stacey win though just for her reaction. I think as a character she’s brilliant!

It’s pretty obvious most of the British public don’t recognise real talent when they see it or Danyl would be in the final. That said, my favourite has always been Joe; he is by far the best singer and has the personality to go with it! I will be voting for Joe!

Joe to win. Olly cannot dance or sing and is annoying. Stacey is a great singer at times but not consistent enough but so funny!

Joe is clearly the best. Brilliant voice, genuine appreciation of the songs he sings, great looks and he’s a geordie!

Sorry again for sounding like I care but to use the phrase “real talent” when talking about Xfactor is a bit of a paradox. There are plenty of people who can sing decent covers of well known songs but don’t get the chance to get onto this programme. Surely real talent is when you can write the stuff and perform it year after year. Michelle McManus, that old bloke Steve something, smae for the ones who won Britains got dillusion – sorry, talent, apart form one or two who are succesful due to hype rather than real long lasting talent these shows are there ONLY to make that cowell bloke richer. I say I dont want to seem as if I care but i do – i care about the fact that there is real, original and long lasting talent out there that get continual support from real music lovers not those who prefer to jump on the whichever bandwagon is passing at the time!

I for one won’t be voting for Simon Cowell! (Because people – he is the only winner in this sham).

    Rock on!
