Archers aiming to beat world record
Saturday 5th December 2009, 10:13AM GMT.
Two Shropshire archers were today attempting to set a new Guinness World Record by scoring 37,500 points over a 24-hour period.
Paul Athersmith, 44, and Paul Rudge, 43, of Telford Archers Club, were hoping to break the record at Wrekin College sports hall.
It was set by two RAF sergeants in May this year.
