Police alert for drivers
Thursday 3rd December 2009, 6:59PM GMT.
Motorists in Mid Wales tempted to drink and drive this Christmas are being warned police will be breathalysing people 24 hours a day in the run-up to and over the festive season.
Patrols will be stepped up and those prepared to flout the law run a real risk of being caught, say police chiefs.
The four Welsh police forces, in conjunction with the Welsh Assembly Government, were due to launch the All Wales Christmas Anti-Drink Drive Campaign for 2009 today.
