Blue’s the colour for Philip

An ardent Mid Wales football fan has been left feeling blue as he is the only member of the Birmingham City Supporters Group in the area.
Now Philip Glynn, from Newtown, wants other like-minded supporters to come forward as he looks to expand the Barclays Premier League club’s modest fanbase throughout Mid Wales and Shropshire.
“Nothing’s really happened here, which is disappointing, so I want to find out whether there are any other ‘Blue’ noses out there to see whether we can set up a fans group in the future,” he said.
