Film – never seem to get the chance to watch films – the kids always keep me too busy!
Album – I was very impressed by Vivaldi’s Four Seasons recorded by Dan Laurin and Arte Dei Suonatori. A somewhat overplayed, and over-familiar piece of music, but given a fresh new feel by the use of an orchestra using Baroque instruments, and the use of virtuoso Dan Laurin’s recorder instead of the usual violin as lead instrument. Always puts a smile on my face…
