Women’s network event for business

Ellesmere College Shropshire women working in business can take advantage of a networking opportunity.

Teresa Rowe, from Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, has organised a Network of Women event on Wednesday at Ellesmere College.

It will include presentations from businesswomen in and around Shropshire and there will be the chance to meet new contacts and exchange ideas.

There are due to be presentations by Melina Abbott of Business By Results talking about the seven deadly marketing sins and Gaynor Gravestock of Icon Business Solutions with a presentation called a vision for the future.

Teresa Rowe said: “Our Network of Women events attract experienced professional career women from a variety of businesses, and they will able to get to know each other and develop some potentially great working business relationships to their mutual benefit.”

Hazel Wakefield, director of Enterprises Ltd at Ellesmere College, said: “Ellesmere College is delighted to host the Network of Women event again, the response from previous events has been really good, and women have discovered that their exclusive networking event is a most cost-effective way of meeting people, generating lots of positive business contacts and sales leads, exchanging ideas, and making new clients.”
