Switching on the Christmas lights in a previous year
Hundreds of people are expected to gather in Shrewsbury tonight for the town’s Christmas lights switch-on.
The fun will start at The Square at 5.30pm, before the lights are switched on at 6.30pm.
Presenters from Severn Radio will be leading the activities and the lights will be switched on by the stars of this year’s pantomime Peter Pan, including Emmerdale star Matt Healy who played bad boy Matthew King.
