Dr Simon Reid, Louise Wesley, Wendy Hartwig and Julie Griffiths, from the Skin Clinic in Shrewsbury
Staff at the Skin Clinic, based at the Dental Spa at Oxon Business Park in Shrewsbury, have been offering free consultations throughout this month in support of Pudsey Bear.
Deb Price, practice manager, said: “We have been inviting clients to make a voluntary donation to Children in Need instead of paying the usual fee for a skin consultation.
“The idea has been a great success – and people still have until November 30 to call us on (01743) 343434 to book a free consultation and add to the money already in Pudsey’s bucket.”
As ever the efforts of fundraisers across the country will feature in a live show on BBC1 running into the early hours, with Alesha Dixon and Tess Daly presenting along with long-running host Terry Wogan this year.
