Dog of the week: Mel
Thursday 19th November 2009, 6:12AM GMT.
This week Dogs Trust Roden is appealing for a loving new home for Mel, a 13-year-old tan and white terrier cross.
Mel arrived at the Rehoming Centre after being found as a stray and, due to his advanced years, staff are keen to find him a home quickly.
Dogs Trust Roden Manager, Louise Campbell, said: “Mel is a very sweet older dog who loves company and really wants a new owner to snuggle up to now winter is here.
“He likes gentle strolls and would enjoy pottering about in a garden. Mel gets on well with other dogs so could live with a canine companion. However as he’s less sprightly than he once was, he’d prefer an adult home or one without boisterous young children.”
If you think you could be Mel’s new owner, please visit Dogs Trust Roden, Roden Lane Farm, Telford, or call 01952 770225.
