Also taking part is Anne Howard, who grew up in Telford but now lives in Harlescott Grange in Shrewsbury, who lost twins in 2007 but was overjoyed last year when she gave birth to twins again.

Arranging flowers in the calendar are Mandy and Jez Mottershaw, from St Georges, in Telford, who saw their son Reece, nine, spend three months in the unit after being born 14 weeks premature.

“The doctors had to deliver Reece to save me and he was just 2lb 1oz. He was a very poorly boy for the first three months and the staff were just amazing,” they said.

Other parents taking part are Everton and Belinda Forbes, from Telford, Sarah Rowntree, from Shawbury, Emma Bates, from Shrewsbury, Emma Mellor, from Shrewsbury, James Griffiths from Oakengates, in Telford, and Matty Stanley from Telford.

The calendar will be available from December 7 at Toni and Guy in Shrewsbury and Telford and Essensuals Hair in Shrewsbury at £10.

There will also be a launch party in the Lord Hill Hotel in Shrewsbury on December 6 at 7pm. Tickets are £15 and can be bought from any of the hairdressers.
