Thousands at bonfire spectacular

The bonfire is lit.
More than 10,000 people flocked to one of Shropshire’s biggest bonfire and fireworks spectaculars.
The annual Donnington Bonfire in Telford proved an explosive success with thousands from across the county turning out to celebrate its 29th year.
The flaming feast of fun took place on Broad Oaks playing fields on Saturday night. Organisers Alf and Jennifer Mitchell said they were ecstatic at its success.
