Chaos for motorists
Tuesday 10th November 2009, 11:20AM GMT.
Motorists in Ludlow are facing traffic chaos as a main route shuts for repairs. Lower Galdeford is being shut for a week while electricity giant E.on carries out work.
Richard Suggett, for Shropshire Council, said: “Work started on Lower Galdeford yesterday to remove an electrical street pillar.
“Work is expected to take seven days to complete and traffic is diverted east along Lower Galdeford, south along Weeping Cross Lane, west along Temeside, north along B4361 Corve Street, east along Station Drive, south along Upper Galdeford and vice versa.”
