Shrewsbury 0 Staines 1
Saturday 7th November 2009, 9:11PM GMT.
Shrewsbury Town have been knocked out of the FA Cup.
They were unable to get the better of visiting Staines Town – a team they should have had no trouble defeating.
Instead, when Staines’ Ali Chaaban took the advantage in the 20th minute, Shrewsbury had no answer.
Paul Simpson later spoke of his disappointment with his players, saying the team had got what it deserved.

Ha ha ha! Dismal performance played to a barely third full stadium – the right words would sound like “power of kite”!
So begins the second golden age for the boo boys!

What an embarassing time to be a Shrewsbury Town fan. Blythe Spartans and last seasons away results were bad enough. What other torture has Simpson and his clowns got planned for you this season?

Roland and the board are definitely not happy. Will Simpson be staying after this?

Perhaps it would be a decent gesture for the club to offer a discount at a future match to any attendee at that pathetic display on Saturdsy. £16.00 wasted as far as I am concerned. It was a disgrace.

Is the Staines goalscorer, Ali C a relative of Ali G who is also from Staines?
