Plea for show performers

Organisers of Newtown’s talent show have appealed for more people to come forward to take part in this month’s event.
Mayor Joy Jones, who is organising the event, wants comedians, singers and dancers of all ages to come forward before it’s too late.
Monty’s Got Talent, on November 28, follows the format of the ITV1 show Britain’s Got Talent.
Entry forms are available from the town council office in Newtown.
