Drivers in ‘road rage’ collision
Wednesday 4th November 2009, 6:01PM GMT.
Two white van drivers gestured to each other before their vehicles collided in a road rage incident near Market Drayton.
Police today appealed for witnesses to the incident on the A41 north of Tern Hill.
They said one driver had followed the other flashing the van’s headlights before the minor collision happened.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Constable Simon Fearn said the incident happened at about 5.30pm yesterday.
“It started on the A41 southbound at Bletchley involving two white vans travelling in the same direction,” he said.
“It appears one vehicle has pulled up alongside the other with the two drivers gesturing at each other before a collision took place.
“The vans have continued, one behind the other, with headlights being flashed. They have eventually stopped on the A41 near the turning to Stoke Heath Young Offenders Institution.”
Constable Fearn urged anyone who saw any part of the incident to contact him at Market Drayton police station by calling 0300 333 3000
