Crews fight barn blaze

Tuesday 3rd November 2009, 8:27AM GMT.

Firefighters spent more than two hours tackling a blaze at a barn, near Bridgnorth, which contained 30,000 litres of bio oil.

The crews were called to the incident on a farm near Middleton Priors at about 9.20pm last night.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue today said the building was not near any homes.

Six appliances from across the county attended along with the incident commander from Shrewsbury.

Crews finally left the scene at 11.30pm last night.
