Stuart Trow, John Sandford Hart, Tony Burbage, Natalie Fellowes, Jon Le Galloudec, Stu Le Coulliard, Craig Lundberg and Andrew Larkey at Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport, where they set off for the challenge in aid of Help For Heroes.

Mr Trow said he had suffered with a bad back during the trip and some discomfort from his prosthetic limb.

He added: “Hopefully it proves to the injured guys at Headley Court (the Army’s rehabilitation centre) that there is life after an injury and that they can go on and achieve things like we have done.

“Hopefully it gives them inspiration and a goal to aim towards.”
