Pair hurt in M54 crash
Saturday 31st October 2009, 10:50AM GMT.
Two people returning from holiday were taken to hospital after the car they were in crashed on the M54 early today.
A section of the westbound carriageway was closed following the crash between Junctions 6 and 7 at 2.43am.
Watch manager Kevin Maddox, from Wellington Fire Station, said a woman was released from the Peugeot 807 by ambulance staff and her husband managed to get out of the vehicle himself.
He said he believed the couple had just returned from Australia.
