tap-waterOswestry’s new water supply will not be on tap until next week, Severn Trent said today.

The water firm is planning to mix the mains water with new water from a borehole at Nesscliffe following complaints about the taste.

David Essex, water strategy manager, who visited several homes, said: “Unfortunately the borehole water will not come on stream until early next week.

“We have had a glitch in the computer software which meant we were not able to put the water into the system.”
