Passant leaves Shrewsbury Town

Derek Passant has stepped down as a Shrewsbury Town director as part of a series of behind the scenes changes at the Prostar Stadium.
Mr Passant has relinquished his place on the Board after 14 months in charge, while Steve Wellbeloved has also left after completing an initial review into the running of the club.
“I’m grateful for both Derek and Steve’s assistance and extend my best wishes to both for the future,” chairman Roland Wycherley said today.
Elsewhere, Ian Bebbington, who has been heavily involved at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, has joined as a commercial consultant.
