Drayton in big interest

Market Drayton Town chairman Alex Mutch insists he is impressed with the calibre of applicants for the vacant manager’s job.
The UniBond League division one south outfit are hunting for a new manager following the departure of Simon Line to Hednesford.
And Mutch, who refused to be drawn on any names, said: “We have had eight applications and a lot of people have expressed an interest.
“I have been pleased with the names who have been in touch.
“We are sifting through at the moment and hopefully we will start the interviewing process in the next few days.”
It is understood Drayton have received interest from several candidates who have managed at a higher level.
