prince-harryHigh-flying Prince Harry has passed his helicopter training course at a Shropshire airbase, it was confirmed today.

The 25-year-old, who is third in line to the throne, has completed his course at RAF Shawbury.

A Clarence House spokeswoman said today: “Prince Harry is delighted to have successfully completed the advanced rotary course at RAF Shawbury.

“The Prince will now embark on the next stage at the Army Air Corps base at Middle Wallop.”

Weekend reports suggested Prince Harry is to receive a certificate from his commanding officer at a private graduation ceremony this week before moving on the next phase of his training, which is due to take place in Hampshire.

Prince Harry, who has been living and training in Shropshire with brother Prince William, is also believed to have toasted his success by celebrating with his on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

The couple were reportedly spotted partying at a trendy London bar at the weekend.

The warrior prince, who has already served on the front line in Afghanistan, is said to be keen on a return to action once he has earned his Army Flying Badge or “Wings”.

Nobody was available for comment at RAF Shawbury today.
