Has your company’s workforce got what it takes to be crowned the “Business Brains of Shropshire”?

Time is running out for entries to a charity fundraising quiz being held in Shrewsbury on October 16.

Business Brains of Shropshire is taking place in the Sovereign Suite at Shrewsbury Town FC, with all profits going to the Prince’s Trust.

Compered by Eric Smith of BBC Radio Shropshire and supported by Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, the event offers great prizes for the winners and runners-up, and a charity auction.

There will be a £400 cash prize for the winning team, four cases of top quality wine for the second placed team plus other cash prizes.

A luxurious trip for two from Venice to London aboard the legendary Orient-Express train will be just one of the items up for grabs during the auction.

Teams are to be made up of four players and tickets cost £100 per team, to include a finger buffet.

Organiser Henry Carpenter said today: “We have got about 20 teams confirmed so far, but there is certainly room for more. I have no doubt that it will be a really cracking evening which will be hugely enjoyed by all who take part.”

The quiz will start at 8pm.
