A new £1 million nightclub, wine bar and restaurant complex is due to open in Telford tonight, creating more than 60 jobs.
Club Crush, Vox Bar and Dragons Den Chinese & Cantonese Restaurant will all open their doors for the first time at a special VIP bash, with an official opening for the public tomorrow.
The site of the former Athena nightclub, which closed three years ago and has lain empty ever since, has been transformed by developers Medlink Enterprises.
The restaurant will be open seven days a week and features an 11-foot dragon hanging from the ceiling. It will offer two and three-course set meals as well as an a la carte menu.
Vox has been described by complex spokesman Dale Lloyd as a “sophisticated city-style wine bar” which will be open in the day for families before turning into an over-18s nightspot later on.

Oh well whatever passes as ‘recreation’ as the usual undiscerning mob thrash about to music that isn’t worth the electricity that powers it in a sad and desperate hormonal alcoholic fug of their own making.
