Prees set for last throw of dice

Prees enter the last chance saloon against Hadley USC tonight as they bid to keep alive their faint hopes of promotion to the Furrows Shropshire Premier Bowls League.
The Market Drayton League champions are one of three teams bidding for the chance to face the Premier League’s bottom club Childs Ercall in the promotion/relegation play-off on Friday.
And they know they must run out convincing winners in tonight’s second pre play-off game on Meole Brace’s premier green, having already lost by 84 chalks to Ludlow League winners Burway last week.
The pre play-off games are completed on Wednesday, when Hadley will face Burway in what could prove to be the all-important decider on Telepost No 2.
