The future of the Princess Royal Hospital is under the spotlight as our podcast team look back at the events of the past seven days.
Amy Bould examines controversial plans to withdraw a number of acute services from the Telford unit, and transfer them to Shrewsbury.
Assistant Editor Carl Jones looks back at the new film based on the life of Shropshire’s most reverred scientist, Charles Darwin, after attending the world premiere.
Carl, however, who is also the newspaper’s film editor, was less than impressed.
James Shaw also looks back on the sports action from the past week, but warns fans of local teams not to get too excited.
“It’s going to be a long season,” he says.
