We’ve got fairly scant information about what this photo depicts. On the back of the print is written “Wombridge. Eastern Primary Road clearance”.
It seems likely then that it shows some of the earthmoving which was involved in paving the way for the northern part of the road in Telford. It dates from March 1976.
