Man hurt in shoe attack

high-heels-stilettos-womens-feetA man received hospital treatment after being attacked by a woman who struck him on the head with a stiletto shoe in Shrewsbury town centre.

Police are appealing for information about the incident which happened at about 3.15am yesterday after the man got into an argument with two women on the English Bridge in Abbey Foregate.

He was later treated at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for a small cut to his head.

The woman with the shoe is described as white, in her 20s, about 5ft 8in tall, slim and with long hair.
