Wraight out in quarter-finals

Callum Wraight’s bid to become only Shropshire’s second winner of the Autumn Waterloo ended at the quarter-final stage.
The All England winner from Castlefields lost 21-18 to Gary Ellis in Blackpool yesterday afternoon, going close after trailing 13-5.
Wraight, who had hoped to match the 2006 triumph of Chester Road’s Andy Moss, picked up £175 while Ellis went on to beat Lee Heaton 21-15 in the final.

absolutely delighted for callum and his success, but all this running around the country hasn”t done much for the attitude of other players at castlefields who are having to fill in for him while he gallavants round the country , hence putting the shrewsbury friday side under pressure by having to release our players at a critical time of the season to cover .So one thing or the other , competitions all year and leave the prem alone so as they know where they are with him .
