Pair hurt in bike crash

Saturday 12th September 2009, 10:00AM BST.

A man and a woman, both believed to be in their 60s, were injured after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in Shropshire.

They were taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford after the collision near Bridgnorth.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A442 in Quatt, at about 4.20pm yesterday.

A spokeswoman said: “The man suffered significant head, face and leg injuries in the crash. The woman had a hip injury.”

The driver of the car, a woman, was uninjured.
