A Shrewsbury post office which closed when its subpostmistress was put on “precautionary” suspension following a routine audit is to reopen on Monday.
But Rubbina Shaheen, who runs the post office, remains suspended pending further inquiries.
A spokeswoman for Post Office Ltd said: “Greenfields Post Office will reopen on Monday with a temporary subpostmaster. It is back to business as usual.”
Mrs Shaheen has said she does not not want to make any comment about the matter until further inquiries have been carried out.
