Cherished motor a trophy winner

Mike Sargeant and Jan Bromley from Alvin Road, Wem, with a trophy won at the County of Salop Steam Rally at Onslow, near Shrewsbury, last month for their restored Morris Minor “Jeremy”.
The restoration of the 1952 Morris convertible was featured last year in the Shropshire Star Autostar supplement.
It took Mike eight months to turn the rusting wreck into a gleaming vehicle.
