School told it must improve

Thursday 10th September 2009, 11:50AM BST.

A Shropshire primary school has been told by Ofsted that it must improve its performance.

Inspectors judged aspects of Baschurch CE Primary to be inadequate, due to problems with leadership and communication with parents, and have given it a notice to improve.

However, they identified both teaching and pupils’ progress as satisfactory overall.

My view is many primary schools need to be checked yearly. The problem Heads who do not listen to any one unless it is something they agree with . Also the appointments of school guvs who have not got a clue and agree with whatever the head says with out question result is above and i am sure more will come over the next 12 months.
