Appeal on coal plan objections

Green campaigners today urged the Government to throw out UK Coal’s plan to mine 900,000 tonnes of coal in the shadow of The Wrekin.
The deadline for submissions on the plan is 5pm today and the Campaign to Protect Rural England has issued a plea to people to make objections known.
