Man injured in quad fall

Monday 7th September 2009, 12:12PM BST.

A man suffered chest and abdominal injuries after falling from a quad bike in a village near Oswestry.

The man is reported to have fallen from the bike after a collision with a fence.

The incident occurred in Llechrydau shortly after 3pm yesterday.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “The man, believed to be in this 30s, was treated on scene for chest and abdominal injuries before being airlifted to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
