The Prostar Stadium in ShrewsburyShrewsbury Town take their latest trip under the international spotlight next week.

England under 19s head to the Prostar Stadium on Tuesday for an international friendly against Russia (7pm).

The team, whose previous outing at the Prostar ended in a 2-1 triumph over Holland last season, is managed by former Shrewsbury Town loanee Noel Blake for the first time.

“West Brom’s Joe Mattock and Danny Welbeck from Manchester United have stepped up to the Under-21s, as has Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere which is great for our other players who are coming through.”

Tottenham’s teenage sensation John Bostock is in the squad for Tuesday along with Newcastle United forward Nile Ranger, who impressed in the Magpies 1-0 win over Leicester City in the Championship last weekend.

Aston Villa’s Nathan Delfouneso also makes the England squad along with three up and coming youngsters from Manchester United – Matt James, Reece Brown and Cameron Stewart.

Tickets are £5 on the night and £3 in advance for adults and £1 for concessions, while Shropshire’s Charter Standard clubs can claim up to 50 free tickets.
