Wrekin transmitter works – in pictures

A major airborne operation took place on top of The Wrekin to upgrade its TV transmitter.
The work was to get the county ready for the switch-over to digital television in 2011 and the eventual switching off of the analogue signal.
However, the works resulted in blank TV sets in 13,000 homes.
