Rider in collision has died

A motorcyclist who suffered major injuries in a collision with a car in Shropshire has died.
The accident happened on the A458 Bridgnorth to Stourbridge road at Stanmore at about 11.50am on Sunday.
The man, in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital suffering serious chest and leg injuries.
His Triumph Daytona 675cc motorcycle was travelling towards Stourbridge when it was involved in a collision with a Honda car travelling in the opposite direction. The passengers in the car were treated for shock at the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to the region’s major trauma unit at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham before being moved to the critical injuries unit at nearby Queen Elizabeth medical centre.
Police have not yet released his name.
A post mortem will be carried out during the next few days and the coroner has been informed.
Investigating officers are still appealing for witnesses to the collision.
