    i was 6 at the time and went to kynnersley school, i remember we had a lot of kids from liverpool but they didn`t seem to last long and must have returned home,we all got issued with gas masks,it seemed an exciting time for us, the school teacher at the time was a mrs thomas and a miss pidgeon who took the infants if my memory serves me right, happy days.,
