A motorcyclist was fighting for his life in hospital today after his bike collided with a car in Bridgnorth. The crash was on the A458 Stourbridge Road at Stanmore.

He said: “On arrival at the scene crews found that a motorcycle and car had been in a significant collision. It is believed both vehicles had been travelling in opposite directions.

He said the woman driver had been treated at the scene for shock but did not require hospital treatment.
