Delays are expected in Telford from tomorrow when the next phase of a £372,500 project to improve road surfaces in the area gets under way.
Work is due to begin on Colliers Way, which will affect access to Forge Retail Park in Telford.
There will be a series of phased road closures, with a diversion route signed via West Centre Way. The works are expected to take three weeks to complete.
On September 14, work starts on Sutton Bank and is also expected to take three weeks. The road will be closed to traffic and an alternative route will be signed.
On September 28, work will start on the B4394 at Walcot Railway Bridge, where the approach roads will be resurfaced. The road will be closed to through traffic for a period of four weeks and a diversion route will be signed.
Councillor Stephen Bentley, cabinet member for environment, said: “Local people have told us that improving roads and footpaths is one of their top priorities.”
